The Series has been divided into 4 volumes. The first and the second volume is available and the rest of the volumes are expected to be ready by December 2014. Prasanna Chandra Gautam was born in Nepal in an orthodox Braahmin family of renowned academics and was educated in Nepal, India and the United Kingdom. He retired as Senior Lecturer in Medicine and Consultant Physician. His interests outside medicine include ancient history and philosophy. Besides scores of technical papers in medicine and textbooks, he has published a novel, a biography, a memoir and a book and articles on the Rig Veda. He is also the principal translator and editor of the translation of the Rig Veda Samhitaa in Nepali.
