About Author
Alexander Stillwell has written and edited numerous books on sports, outdoor pursuits, and military skills. He spent five years in the BritishArmy, where he gained invaluable training in survival skills, first-aid procedures, and escape and evasion techniques. In his spare time, he enjoys cross-country and marathon running. He is the author of The Encyclopedia of Survival Techniques, published by the Lyons Press, which has sold nearly 5, copies in the United States and Canada.
